Sony Pictures Entertainment is looking for a Creative Production Director to lead its creative operations in Latin America, including Brazil, across all lines of business. This critical role demands a visionary, strategic, and collaborative leader with exceptional organizational skills and a deep passion for entertainment. The Director will be instrumental in defining, optimizing, and automating workflows to ensure efficient, high-volume asset production. They will drive process efficiency and speed in the planning, assignment, and timely delivery across digital, offline, linear a post-production outputs of creative projects, empowering creative teams for peak performance.

This role ensures cross-functional alignment, resource efficiency, and flawless execution of high-volume creative deliverables across multiple formats and channels. This role will drive the operational backbone of the creative team, implement scalable systems, and lead a multidisciplinary team of producers, project managers, and post-production professionals.

Responsibility

Strategic Leadership & Team Oversight

  • Lead and scale the Creative Operations team—including creative producers, traffic managers, digital ops lead, and post-production supervisors.

  • Define vision, priorities, and best practices for creative operations across digital, linear, offline, and post.

  • Ensure a seamless workflow across internal teams and external vendors from ideation to final delivery.

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the main point of contact between creative and marketing, product teams  

  • Ensure operational readiness for marketing launches, content releases, and channel takeovers.

  • Manage feedback loops, reviews, and quality control for on-brand, on-brief, and on-time execution.

Digital & Social Creative Operations

  • Manage workflows for digital assets including product and marketing deliverables

  • Ensure timely delivery of digital assets across multiple platforms with versioning and localization.

Linear Campaign Management

  • Oversee the execution and trafficking of linear TV spots, trailers, tune-ins, and offline promos.

  • Coordinate with media, programming, and traffic teams to ensure air-date readiness and legal clearances.

Offline Execution

  • Oversee workflow and deliverable of Key Arts, Guidelines, Event and Campaign Traditional Assets

  • Manage multiple creative projects, balancing priorities and timelines to ensure timely delivery of assets that meet business and creative goals.

Post-Production & Delivery Oversight

  • Own the full post-production pipeline from editorial, graphics, and audio to finishing and mastering.

  • Supervise internal post teams and manage external post houses, freelancers, and finishing vendors.

  • Enforce technical specs, naming conventions, archival procedures, and delivery compliance.

Budgeting & Vendor Management

  • Own and manage creative operations and post-production budgets.

  • Oversee bidding, onboarding, and evaluation of creative and post vendors.

  • Track and report on cost efficiencies and ROI on production operations.

Process & Systems Optimization

  • Implement, integrate, and continuously improve automation and efficiency tools (e.g., Asana, Wrike, Airtable, Frame.io, DAM systems) and processes to support seamless collaboration, real-time visibility, and accelerated project workflows.

  • Lead the strategic evaluation and adoption of new technologies to enhance creative production capabilities and output.

  • Drive the development and standardization of SOPs, style guides, and workflow documentation across all creative teams, ensuring clarity, consistency, and scalability in high-volume asset production.

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, regularly analyzing current processes for bottlenecks and identifying opportunities for greater speed, efficiency, and quality.

Education, Experience

  • 8+ years in creative operations, post-production, or integrated marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Deep understanding of digital, linear, social, print, and post-production pipelines in the entertainment and media industries.

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-platform creative campaigns with high asset volume.

  • Strong knowledge of creative and post-production tools, timelines, specs, and legal requirements.

  • Experience with project management platforms (Asana, Airtable, Monday.com), DAM systems, and video collaboration tools (Frame.io, Adobe CC).

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Full Fluency in English and Spanish are required (written/spoken). Portuguese is a plus.
