Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that builds on your experience and develops your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 29th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The Marketing Organization at Sony Pictures Television (SPT) supports the entire lifecycle of our television series, from supporting the initial sale with pitch materials to collaborating with first window network partners on marketing campaigns to creating and managing marketing assets with Distribution teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will collaborate with other creatives to ideate, design, and execute creative content including Key Art, Pitch Decks, Social Digital Assets, Merchandise, and Marketing Campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to create and design using the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator)
• Some knowledge of Keynote and PowerPoint
• Experience with creating pitch decks, and digital assets
• Interest in creative marketing
• Ability to think strategically and innovate
• Solid teamwork traits
• Ability to multi-task
• Good communication skills, time management, and prioritization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program within the art or creative space

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
