Coordinator, Production Finance

This position supports production finance and production accounting staff worldwide for the Motion Picture Group.  Role provides oversight and guidance during onboarding of production crews and assists in implementing studio policies.  Position will work with production finance team to process pre-production expenditures and set up banking systems and processes in a timely manner.  Individual will be responsible for collecting and processing weekly fundings for feature films and ensuring the success support of our production’s banking needs.  Position is a studio point of contact for trouble shooting and addressing questions from freelance accounting staff regarding company procedures. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support domestic and international production accounting teams working on location
  • Process union and non-union payroll during pre-production, manage pre-production reimbursements and payables
  • Manage weekly production funding, banking issues and reconcile SAP funding to production ledgers
  • Support collection of domestic and international tax credits
  • Manage studio and production accounting interfaces, reconcile and resolve any variances

Requirements:

  • B.A./B.S.
  • 2+ years - production accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel
  • SAP, Vista and PSL knowledge a plus
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent proactivity and ability to plan and anticipate needed action items
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and identify what action items need to be prioritized

The anticipated base salary for this position is $51,200-$64,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
